What to expect in a nutritional medicine consultation
Initial Consultation: During a 60 minute initial consultation we will thoroughly investigate your presenting complaints through a series of questions regarding each system of the body, medical history, family medical history, diet and lifestyle.
I will also conduct relevant physical examinations that will help me understand your health.
Depending on your presenting complaint, further testing may be required and/or a diet/symptom diary may be needed before any advice is given. The initial consultation is the investigation session, where I gather as much information as I can to start putting together the pieces of your health puzzle.
Together, we will put together a health plan including goals that you would like to achieve and discuss how you can achieve them. Health is a journey and I am here to guide and support you through it.
During the follow up session we will begin to put that plan into action.
